Quick start
The shortest path in Fox Store is to create a Provider connection, select an existing app, import a package, complete preflight, and then decide whether to upload.
1. Prepare your local environment
Once official installers are available, download from the website, install, and verify the version. Credentials vary by Provider: Apple uses App Store Connect API Keys; Google Play, HarmonyOS, and Samsung use their own Service Accounts; Chinese Android stores use platform-issued client secrets or certificates; WeChat Mini Programs use the project and private key required by the official local CI.
2. Activate Fox Store
Your license and Provider account are separate. The license only determines whether Fox Store features are unlocked; Apple, Google, Huawei, or WeChat credentials are never uploaded to the license server. Activate with a purchase account or license Key; full Keys are sent only in the request body. See Licensing and activation for device limits, offline grace periods, and renewal.
3. Create a Provider connection
Open “Settings → Publishing connections,” select the target Provider, and enter the required materials. A successful connection only proves the credentials work, not that the account has every write permission. Fox Store continues to show permission and resource status before specific operations.
4. Select an app and package
Select an existing app in the Provider's Apps workspace, then import the matching package or project. Filenames are only labels; versions, Bundle IDs, signatures, and provisioning profiles are determined from the actual package contents.
5. Resolve blockers first
Preflight classifies checks as passed, warnings, or blockers. Do not upload until blockers are resolved. Warnings do not automatically prevent publishing, but you should understand their impact.
6. Upload and retain the task
Uploads use official APIs or official local tools. The task page preserves stages, progress, and redacted logs. After a failure, investigate from the last successful stage instead of rebuilding the context from scratch.
